Vaccination against TBE

As of Monday, May 31st, it is possible to make an appointment to receive a vaccination against TBE (Tick-borne encephalitis - brain inflammation). Both children and adults are welcome.

The cost for TBE- vaccine per dose is 310 SEK for a child and 350 SEK for an adult. You can shcedule an appointment as usual by calling BsMartina at  08-406 23 70. The vaccination is carried out on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between 2pm and 4pm.

New opening hours on Sundays from April 4th

As from Sunday, April 4th (Easter Sunday), Martina Children's Hospital opens on Sundays from 12:00 to 18:00. The new open hours are to accommodate the parents' wishes", says Peter Wasmuth, CEO of Martina Children’s Hospital.

"We are currently open on Sundays from 14:00 to 20:00 and it has become obvious that most of the parents would prefer to have earlier open hours. There has been a demand from many that we should open a few hours earlier and of course we are going to adjust."

We are planning to publish the Newsletter six to eight times per year and now you can download the first issue here. In the newsletters we will answer the questions we get from parents and people who are interested in development of Martina Children's Hospital. We will also inform you of current paediatric issues and post questions regarding specific subject areas about which we are curious to hear your opinions. Sometimes we will make a contribution to a political debate about healthcare.

News_Success for Martina's Annual subscription

In early February 2009 Martina Children's Hospital launched the Annual subscription, which provides free access to Martina’s Medical Care Services between 1150 SEK and 2350 SEK per child, per year. After just over two months several hundred children were already subscribed and a steady stream of new applications progresses daily.
